We need YOUR input on the Town of Buchanan's future!
Comprehensive Plans (COMPs) are a local government’s guide to community physical, social and economic development. COMPs are not meant to serve as land regulations in themselves; instead, they provide a rational basis for local land use decisions with a twenty-year vision for future planning and community decisions. Comprehensive Plans are required by the WI Comprehensive Planning Law (s.66.1001) & must be updated no less than every 10 years. The Town of Buchanan last updated its Comprehensive Plan in 2018.
Public participation is an important part of the comprehensive planning process as it helps to ensure that the plan accurately reflects the vision of the community. We would like to hear your ideas, thoughts, and opinions on the Town and the Town's future!
